Collection of 3 Spanish religious devotional pieces, c1890.
These are fine quality 19th century examples. The icon has a decorative brass frame with hand painted enamel inset depicting a religious scene. The quality of the painting and the composition is good. The crucifixes are not quite a pair with small differences. They are well cast in brass/bronze with lovely detail. The cross is flanked by cherubs.
Overall condition is good with minor surface wear/rubbing to the crosses. We think the icon would have had a stand at some point and this is missing.
All three items have taken on a great colour/patina that only comes from age and use. Please refer to the detailed photographs and feel free to contact us with any questions or if you would like to view the item.
