Very large and attractive mid-20th Century African Benin tribal bronze depicting a standing Obe or King, c1950. It is a nice tribal casting in the lost wax method and the detailing is good, but very much in the 'primitive' tribal style.
The colour/patination is as you would expect from a period piece. There are no obvious losses, dents or cracks etc., and overall we would describe it as being in good condition commensurate with its age and use.
