An antique 19th Century marble or alabaster relief panel, 1872. The piece is inscribed/signed 'Emile Andre Boisseau' (or similar) Paris 1872 on the front and has an embedded coin on the rear, which may be a 'Grand Tour' piece.
It is nicely decorated in relief, with a recumbent goat, foliage and Bacchanalian fauns. It is in good original condition with only minor surface wear/discolouration - all very much as you would expect from something that is 150 years old.
