Two rare and interesting antique 19th Century African tribal clubs, c1890. One is a Zulu knobkerrie, with a carved bulbous end which indicates it was probably used for ceremonial purposes. The second is a primitively hand-carved club with a metal (iron) blade.

Both have aged beautifully and have great colour/patina. They are in good original condition, with only minor age-related surface wear - all very much as you would expect from pieces that are more than 100 years old.

They have a great tribal look. Please refer to the detailed photographs and feel free to contact us with any questions or if you would like to view the items.

Sizes - Knobkerrie: 64 cm long x 7.5 cm wide; metal bladed club: 69 cm long x 14 cm wide.
