Two interesting hand-carved aboriginal antiques from the early 20th Century or earlier, c1920.
The first item is an aboriginal marriage paddle with nice 'dreamtime' decoration, showing a snake eating a frog on one side. On the other it is inscribed with the name 'Nicep' or similar. The colour/patina is great, and it may well be earlier than stated. The second item is a nice hand-carved aboriginal staff.
